How we should eat
Nothing says “home-cooked meal” like a meal made from scratch served in a beautifully restored 1910 Victorian home.
When you take a step into the House of Memories in St. Paul, Nebraska, you’ll be taking a step back in time.
Our multi-generational Victorian family home has been restored and embraced for its history and charm and our staff, which includes Jim and Mary (Sack) Hedrick, owners of House of Memories, will serve you with genuine Nebraskan hospitality.
It’s okay to slow down
Take a break from those “fast food” places and sit down for a home-cooked meal. All of our meals are made-from-scratch, include a dessert and are served on beautiful china with table linens and cloth napkins. Many recipes have been handed down for two generations and have been updated by our own personal touches. Be sure to browse our shop full of unique gift items and sit on our porch swing afterward.
A house of memories
Wallpapered rooms, leaded and stained-glass windows, an open staircase, interior columns, French doors and crystal chandeliers aid you in your elegant dining experience. Many antiques, including coins that were found in our house’s restoration process, are on display.
